Bharat Rudra brings over three decades of experience in Canada’s technology and innovation ecosystem, having held leadership roles across startups, SMEs, and global technology firms. He has launched and managed multiple ventures and was instrumental in developing and leading the Government of Canada’s $28 million R&D collaboration programs with India and Brazil, fostering dozens of successful cross-border partnerships.

Bharat is deeply embedded in Canada’s entrepreneurial landscape. He co-founded the Ottawa chapter of TiE in 2002, transforming it into one of the most active chapters in Canada. Through TiE, he has mentored countless entrepreneurs and launched key initiatives like TiECon Canada and PitchFest, providing platforms for early-stage ventures to thrive.

In addition to his business achievements, Bharat is widely recognized for his community leadership. He is a recipient of many Award including the Volunteer Ottawa’s Lifetime Achievement Award for over 35 years of service to the local community and was honored with the prestigious Order of Ottawa.
